What is the application procedure to the IPBS MIM programme?
You need to fill out the online application form and to upload the following documents as PDF files. Please note to hand in all your files in ENGLISH. For final submission you need to pay a nonrefundable €50 application fee.
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic transcripts (final degree or current status). If applying outside of Europe/North America or Mexico, please include an explanation of the grading system under which you have studied.
- Letter of motivation (minimum 250 and maximum 750 words).
- Two letters of recommendation, one academic and one professional recommendation. The sample form of the recommendation letter could be downloaded directly from the application form.
- Language Certificate: Copy of TOEFL (min. 83 ibt) or IELTS (6.5 with a min of 6 in each of the individual components) result (not required from native English-speaking candidates or candidates having graduated from an English-speaking university). Please note that you can hand in your language test score later if not available yet.
The applications are screened on a rolling basis. You will receive a decision – negative or positive – generally within 10 working days.
The application deadline is 1 June 2017.
The deadline for acceptance of a study place is 20 June 2017. Please note that once you have accepted your Study Place offer, the IPBS does not allow any transfer/change of track.
To proceed to the enrollment phase, a candidate must sign the offer and send both – the signed offer and the proof of transfer of the first payment installment of EUR 1,000 to email@example.com. In case of withdrawal, the first installment is not refundable.
The candidate will then be contacted by the two schools to begin the enrollment process.
